As I can read at many scholars in the disciplines of the often so-called humanities the act of thinking and writing seems to be a process of uttermost human creativity. Whenever we create something it is not only logic or correctness, but also beauty that finds its form and expression in thought and word. Students in the discipline of history or any other traditionally approached research should be trained in creative writing. As the Open University London offers courses on creative writing, we should also give our students a chance to study and acquire a certain level of quality in their writing performance.
